This course will give you an overview of what a camera operator does, her role in the film crew and teach you the basics of operating a professional video camera. After you have learnt the basics and followed the course to the end you will have to practice the skills you have been taught in this course in order to refine your skills and become more proficient in the operation of a video camera.
 
Is this course for you?
This course is intended for people who at this job need to operate the camera during shoots in accordance to instructions provided by the Director of Photography (DoP). They also need to coordinate efforts of the camera crew during shoots.
